Sarah discovered yoga at the age of 18 at a weekly yoga class held on her college campus and it immediately became an important part of her life. After many years of practice, she took the next step by enrolling in Jai Yoga School’s Terra Firma 200-hour teacher training. It was within this journey that she fell in love with the art of teaching Vinyasa yoga and has since found a home teaching here at Jai. Sarah specializes in teaching gentle, slow flow, and Yin as well as introducing brand new students to yoga. Her classes incorporate a slow vinyasa style with specific attention to the breath and short meditations. Sarah appreciates that Jai has always been a welcoming place for new and experienced practitioners alike and fosters a sense of community and commitment to the roots of yoga.
