Gentle Yoga
This class is perfect for all yogis, but specifically geared towards beginner practitioners who are looking to grow and improve their practice. Moving through simple sequences with detailed instruction, this class will empower you to come home to yourself; reuniting mind, body + spirit. In this reunion, you will cultivate self-awareness while creating a conscious and intelligent foundation for your yoga practice. Expect detailed instruction, simple flows, and a judgment free zone! All levels are welcome. We encourage even our most advanced practitioners to remember the sweet nectar of slowing down and getting gentle once in a while.
PROPS
We realize not everyone has props at home. Here are some good substitutions if you don’t have something!
• Bolster: couch cushions, 2-3 rolled blankets, blocks with blankets on top to soften
• Yoga Blanket: bath/beach towel (they are a little thicker & more sturdy than a normal blanket)
• Blocks: Firm cushions, folded blankets, books (might be worth the home investment to buy blocks)
• Strap: bathrobe tie, scarf, neck tie
